The article deals with the points of intersection of musical discourse and national languages. This issue is relevant for modern linguistics, discourse studies in particular. The issue of the interpenetration of various discourse types over the last decade has been activated at all levels of the main strands of the anthropocentric paradigm in academic research. Music and verbal language have repeatedly become the object of analysis and detection of semiotic interaction, but this has mainly concerned folk or classical music and folk songwriting. However, British rock music and English have been studied fragmentarily at the level of individual performers. The purpose of the article is to identify semiotic correlations between music and natural languages. The leading approach to studying the issue is a discourse analysis of empirical material at the level of terminology and prosody of sign functioning. A hypothesis consider that the worldwide success of British rock is due not only to the realization of the creative possibilities of talented musicians but to the specific structural and semantic features of the English language and British culture. The authors describe the synergetic elements of English phono-stylistics at the level of diphthong (triphthong) functioning, rhythmic prosody, melodic structures, versification mechanisms, and singing components. Several semiotic correlates of the verbal and non-verbal continuum of rock music and English have been identified. An important element of the discovered correlations is the belonging of musical and verbal discourses to the phenomenon of artistic creativity, specially, the British historical and cultural tradition. The results of the study can be applied in further research in the field of synergetic correlation between three types of linguocultural substances: music, mentality, and national language. El artículo trata de los puntos de intersección entre el discurso musical y las lenguas nacionales. Esta cuestión es relevante para la lingüística moderna, los estudios del discurso en particular. La cuestión de la interpenetración de varios tipos de discurso se ha activado en la última década en todos los niveles de las direcciones principales del paradigma antropocéntrico en la investigación académica. La música y el lenguaje verbal se han convertido repetidamente en objeto de análisis y detección de la interacción semiótica, pero esto se ha referido principalmente a la música folclórica o clásica y a la canción popular. Sin embargo, la música rock británica y el inglés se han estudiado fragmentariamente a nivel de intérpretes individuales. El objetivo de este artículo es identificar las correlaciones semióticas entre la música y las lenguas naturales. El enfoque principal para estudiar la cuestión es un análisis del discurso del material empírico a nivel de la terminología y la prosodia del funcionamiento de los signos. Se plantea la hipótesis de que el éxito mundial del rock británico se debe no sólo a la realización de las posibilidades creativas de los músicos de talento, sino a las características estructurales y semánticas específicas de la lengua inglesa y de la cultura británica. Los autores describen los elementos sinérgicos de la fonoestilística inglesa a nivel del funcionamiento de los diptongos (triptongos), la prosodia rítmica, las estructuras melódicas, los mecanismos de versificación y los componentes del canto. Se han identificado varios correlatos semióticos del continuo verbal y no verbal de la música rock y el inglés. Un elemento importante de las correlaciones descubiertas es la pertenencia de los discursos musicales y verbales al fenómeno de la creatividad artística, en particular, a la tradición histórica y cultural británica. Los resultados del estudio pueden aplicarse en futuras investigaciones en el ámbito de la correlación sinérgica entre tres tipos de sustancias lingüísticas-culturales: la música, la mentalidad y la lengua nacional. O artigo trata dos pontos de intersecção do discurso musical com as línguas nacionais. Esta questão é relevante para a linguística moderna, em particular para os estudos do discurso. A questão da interpenetração de vários tipos de discurso durante a última década foi ativada em todos os níveis das principais vertentes do paradigma antropocêntrico na pesquisa acadêmica. A música e a linguagem verbal se tornaram repetidamente objeto de análise e detecção da interação semiótica, mas isto se refere principalmente à música folclórica ou clássica e à composição de canções folclóricas. No entanto, a música rock britânica e o inglês têm sido estudados de forma fragmentada ao nível dos intérpretes individuais. O objetivo do artigo é identificar correlações semióticas entre a música e as línguas naturais. A abordagem principal para estudar o assunto é uma análise do discurso do material empírico no nível da terminologia e da prosódia do funcionamento dos signos. É apresentada a hipótese de que o sucesso mundial do rock britânico se deve não apenas à realização das possibilidades criativas de músicos talentosos, mas às características estruturais e semânticas específicas da língua inglesa e da cultura britânica. Os autores descrevem os elementos sinergéticos da fono-estilística inglesa no nível de funcionamento do ditongo (tritongo), prosódia rítmica, estruturas melódicas, mecanismos de versificação e componentes cantantes. Foram identificados vários correlatos semióticos do continuum verbal e não-verbal da música rock e do inglês. Um elemento importante das correlações descobertas é a pertença dos discursos musicais e verbais ao fenômeno da criatividade artística, em particular, à tradição histórica e cultural britânica. Os resultados do estudo podem ser aplicados em pesquisas posteriores no campo da correlação sinergética entre três tipos de substâncias linguoculturais: música, mentalidade e língua nacional.
