The article explores how Italian philosopher Antonio Gramsci interrogated the cultural work and the political function of historical groups of intellectuals, with critical carelessness, and general intellectual irresponsibility in the form of political thought. Topics include historical role of intellectuals and risk of lacking the perseverance, intense cultural work, and political organization; and scholarship for intellectual legacy as well as to commemorate the loss of Joseph A. Buttigieg. |
