The "Acta Cardiologica" abstract presents various studies on heart conditions in athletes, left bundle branch pacing, atrial fibrillation, implantable loop recorders, cryoballoon ablation, antidiabetic drugs' effects on cardiac fibroblasts, anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity, coronary microvascular dysfunction, and macrophages in heart failure. These studies aim to enhance understanding and treatment of heart diseases in diverse populations. Results from a stress-measurement tool intervention in hospital workers showed reduced burnout sensitivity, improved work motivation, and decreased perceived stress levels, with positive impacts on well-being and work-life balance. The BE.REAL registry study in Belgium demonstrated the effectiveness and safety of inclisiran in reducing LDL-C levels in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease patients, highlighting promising outcomes for this patient population.
