The article offers insights on building common ground for public health between groups with opposing views. Topics discussed include the global trend of populism with loss of confidence in governmental institutions, communication based on shared values and identities and trust-focused work, the use of storytelling to boost social trust and reduce social distance, and the democratic deliberation process. Also noted is gauging the success of these measures through concrete outcomes. |
