Eine Studie kombiniert Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) mit maschinellem Lernen zur Temperaturmessung in der 3D-Drucktechnik, während andere Arbeiten sich mit der Synthese neuartiger chemischer Komplexe, wie dem ersten Berkelocen, und der Entwicklung von Polymerabsorbern inspirieren von Pilzen befassen. Zudem werden Fortschritte in der Massenspektrometrie zur Analyse von Wasser-Mikrotropfen und neue Reaktionsmethoden zur Umwandlung von Zuckern vorgestellt.
