Abstract: Nanotubular materials are important owing to their exceptional physical properties and potential applications. TiO2-NTs attract considerable attention owing to their energy applications in gas-sensing devices, PC, photovoltaic devices, and photo-splitting of water. An anodization methodology synthesizes TiO2-NTs. This research aims to anodize the process of TiO2-NTs for HG in a PEC cell and identify the synthesized TiO2 samples' structural and microstructural characteristics utilizing FE-SEM, LSV, UV–Vis DRS, EDX, photoluminescence, XRD, EIS, and PEC property analysis. The TiO2 samples increase linearly with a different anodization voltage. Moreover, the total photoelectrodes respond well to light with a stable PCD under light illumination. The anatase crystalline structure transforms light into current, making it an optimal photocatalytic material for HP through the PEC splitting of water. As per the outcomes, optimum conditions to form a nanotubular structure and its performance towards HG are relatively high for the specimen anodized in electrolytes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
