| Abstract: |
In HIV‐positive patients, a blunted inflammatory response can mask retrorenal appendicitis, leading to atypical flank or abdominal pain. We report a case of dual pathology on CT scan involving retrorenal appendicitis and a large renal mass with a central scar suggesting oncocytoma. This highlights how multidisciplinary team planning can justify same‐sitting surgery, while pathology and immunohistochemistry secure the final diagnosis and guide follow‐up. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
