The Istituto Guido Donegani in Novara has a long history, dating back over a century. Founded as a Chemistry Institute, it pioneered important innovations, first in industrial chemistry and petrochemistry, and then, in renewable energy and environmental technologies. Over the years, it has accompanied the evolution of the Italian industrial chemistry and subsequently of the energy sector, always adapting to new challenges, such as the current decarbonization of the energy sector. L’Istituto Guido Donegani di Novara ha una lunga storia, avviata oltre un secolo fa. Nato come Istituto di chimica, è stato artefice di importanti innovazioni prima per la chimica industriale e petrolchimica, poi in tempi più recenti per le energie rinnovabili e l’ambiente. Negli anni ha accompagnato l’evoluzione dell’industria chimica italiana e poi di quella energetica, sapendo sempre adattarsi alle nuove sfide, come quella attuale della decarbonizzazione del settore energetico.
