| Abstract: |
The current paper addresses four major questions currently understudy: (1) What do we know about written language development in AAC users? (2) How does written language development in AAC users and nondisabled individuals compare? (3) What do we need to learn about written language development in AAC users? (4) What research designs and methods might lead to a richer understanding of written language development in AAC users? Suggestion for approaches to answering these and other questions about literacy and AAC are offered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
