Abstract:	For this experiment two batches of one day old chickens were taken into study, each of 50 individuals from Ross 308 and Cobb 500 hibrids, raised at ground, in a density of 18/m², in the same microclimath conditions (temperature, humidity, light, aering), feeding, watering and medication. The body weight gain was investigated at determined periods of time, the average daily weight gain, and after slaughtering the carcass mass was studied, the percentage of different body regions as commercial value (chest with bone, whole thighs, wings) and other organs (liver, stomach), also other products (blood, feather, gastrointestinal tract). Analising the obtained data, higher results were recorded in the case of hibrid Cobb 500 for all investigated attributes, compared to Ross 308 hibrid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
