| Abstract: |
Silk fabric was dyed with betalain dyes obtained from beetroot and cactus fruit. Pomegranate rind was used as mordant, which also worked as antioxidant in acidic media. The extract from beetroot gave improved shade in colour than that obtained from cactus fruit. Light fastness and washing fastness tests were performed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
