| Abstract: |
The article discusses a study on the effects of continued overnight fasting or the ingestion of isoenergetic pre exercise meals on short course duathlon time trial performance. The study involved recreational athletes who consumed meals containing either a high proportion of carbohydrate (HCHO) or fat (HF). Results showed that the preexercise meal strategies had no statistically significant effect on the performance. |
