Excellence in research is essential for advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and addressing societal challenges. This article proposes the INDEX Strategy Framework as a structured, evidence-based guide to optimize the research process. The framework encompasses five critical phases: Identify Focus Areas, Network and Collaborate, Design Robust Methodology, Execute with Precision and Persistence, and eXpand Impact and Disseminate. Drawing on scholarly literature and real-world examples, the framework offers researchers a comprehensive roadmap to enhance rigor, relevance, and visibility of their scholarly work. In this study we validate the framework's internal relationships and hierarchical structure using Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) and MICMAC analysis. The article also discusses practical implications and potential limitations, providing a balanced perspective for diverse research contexts. |
