| Abstract: |
This guide provides information and best practices that will help state education agencies (SEAs) and local education agencies (LEAs) manage data related to students who frequently change schools, with a focus on actions to minimize student learning disruptions and allow agencies to provide support for those particular students. This document focuses on best practices that SEAs, LEAs, and schools can learn from as they begin or continue to develop questions, definitions, and measures related to student mobility and chart a path to understand and support students who have experienced mobility. The guide includes definitions, data collection strategies, policy examples, and case studies from several states and districts. |
