Abstract: This technical report provides detailed information about the sample, survey instruments, and resultant data for the Fall 2024 Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Survey (PKTS) which was administered via RAND's American Teacher Panel (ATP). The ATP is a nationally representative sample of public school teachers and part of the broader American Educator Panels (AEP), which also includes school leaders and district leaders across the country. The panels are a proud member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research's Transparency Initiative. The Fall 2024 PKTS collected information about Pre-K teachers' program type, instructional materials used, time spent using each material, types of instruction conducted with each material, perceptions of materials, assessments, professional learning, classroom characteristics, and demographic characteristics. This document contains recycled text from previous AEP technical documentation that describes AEP methods. The results are intended to inform policy and education practice related to Pre-K education.
