| Abstract: |
Giving Days are evolving and institutions are deploying diverse strategies to broaden their reach. This white paper, produced in partnership with Almabase and informed by the experiences of more than 150 institutions worldwide, describes this evolution and adds to CASE's growing global repository of advancement insights, providing leaders with valuable benchmarks and perspectives as you shape your strategies for securing institutional support. Across the philanthropic landscape, we continue to see extraordinary generosity, with major gifts transforming institutions and communities in lasting ways. Alongside these achievements, challenges remain: the overall number of donors has been declining, narrowing the base of support and limiting the pipeline of individuals who can be engaged and cultivated for contributions in years to come. This change has profound implications for the future of giving. And, at a moment when participation is essential, institutions are seeking to address this trend by developing approaches that bring communities together and inspire involvement on a broad scale.
