| Abstract: |
This Research Brief summarizes the performance of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) students participating in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The IB program was offered at nine M-DCPS high schools in 2024-2025, including 6 traditional and 3 charter schools. This year, 3,629 assessments were completed by M-DCPS students in 29 subject areas. The number of IB assessments completed in M-DCPS increased from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025. Overall, the percentage of IB assessments receiving passing scores increased by one percentage point to 85% in 2024-2025 as compared to 2023-2024. At the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year, 89% of eligible M-DCPS students received IB diplomas, which marked an increase of eight percentage points from the previous year. |
