| Abstract: |
This brief is part of a set sharing specific AI literacy recommendations for various audiences in education. AI literacy implementation has gained widespread support at the national, state, and local levels, with momentum building across both computer science courses and through interdisciplinary integrations. To support educational leaders and policymakers in developing AI literacy policies and pathways, this brief provides guidance to make progress in the PK-12 education setting by recommending a flexible, multi-level approach as it reflects the need for AI literacy guidance to be adaptable across learning contexts and environments, rather than prescribing specific tools or methods. |
