| Abstract: |
This study examined public secondary schools teachers' tasks and their classroom job performance in Edo central school district, Nigeria. With a total of 252 research participants and two adapted instruments--Teachers' Task Questionnaire (TETAQ) and Teachers' Class Performance Questionnaire (TECLAPEQ)--the study attempted to find out how teachers' tasks associated with or impacted their classroom job performance. Data generated were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis (MLRA) at 0.05 level of significance. The study found among other things that teachers' instructional and administrative duties significantly predicted teachers' classroom performance in the district. |
