Description: Ham SW, Lew WK, Weaver F. J Blood Med. 2010;1:135–142. The Editor and Publisher of Journal of Blood Medicine wish to retract the published article. It has come to the journals attention that the article contains a significant amount of overlap to an article published previously by two of the same authors: Clinical use of topical thrombin as a surgical hemostat. Lew WK, Weaver FA, Biologics: Targets and Therapy, 2008;2(4):593-599 (https://doi.org/10.2147/BTT.S2435). The authors did not respond to our queries and have been notified of the decision to retract. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted.” This retraction relates to this paper
