; in Congo-Brazzaville, the people of the south of the country, and more particularly those of the Niari countries, were affected by the successive wars in the years 1990 and the state’s commitment to these areas. The educational system has not been scattered. While the state has recently sought to establish a new “national union” in the south-western regions of Congo, its intentions are not based on political strategies, even if this allows some renewed attention for this region. But the gaps still have to be filled: with the hyper visibilite of a number of prestige upgrades, the educational system in rural areas and small towns and cities cannot be deterred. This article highlights the territorial logic of the State and international organisations, which, without wishing to do so, marginalise former opposition centres and contribute to strengthening regional and social disparities, such as school MOBILITES for eleves and teachers.
