This research addresses the role of refuting intellectual doubts in strengthening the mental and intellectual faculties of Muslims. Among the virtues of Islam is that it strives to elevate human thought through stations of reflection, creativity, and innovation in a manner that accords with human dignity, enhances one’s worth, and raises one’s potential. Islamic sciences have encompassed this, particularly the science of dispelling intellectual doubts, which aims at elevating reason and thought. The study aimed to clarify the concept of intellectual doubts, their causes, effects, and the importance of addressing them. It also sought to uncover the corrupt interpretation in the hadith likening woman to Satan and to refute it, while showing how removing such doubts contributes to the growth of mental faculties among Muslim students in general. The study dealt with several questions revolving around the concept of intellectual doubts, the claims of skeptics that belittle women, the evidence from Prophetic hadith, how to respond to such doubts, and the role of women in the development of intellectual capacities in this regard. The researcher employed the descriptive-analytical method, gathering information related to the study of doubts, analyzing it in light of the texts of Sharia, and presenting the opinions of scholars. Among the most important findings of the study was that skeptics misunderstood the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding women, misinterpreting it as if it denigrated them by describing women as “Satan.” However, scholars clarified that this was not the intent, but rather a contextual metaphor. The study emphasized that refuting such doubts strengthens mental, intellectual, and critical faculties among Muslims.
