In this qualitative study, we carry out a critical analysis of the guidelines and working tools used by the educational inspection service in Galicia to verify compliance with language legislation in schools. To this end, we rely on in-depth interviews with three members of the same province department, who are characterized by their Galician-speaking background and their particular sensitivity towards the Galician language. Their testimonies reveal that, in the absence of clear operational guidelines and due to the weakness of linguistic inspection, Galician finds itself in a clear position of disadvantage within the educational sphere—something that stands in contrast to the legally established model of linguistic balance. ; Nesta investigación cualitativa realizamos unha análise crítica das pautas e dos instrumentos de traballo da inspección educativa de Galicia para verificar o cumprimento da lexislación lingüística nos centros de ensino. Para iso, valémonos das entrevistas en profundidade a tres membros do mesmo servizo provincial, caracterizados polo seu perfil galegofalante e pola súa especial sensibilización cara á lingua galega. Os seus testemuños deixan de manifesto como, ante a ausencia de pautas de actuación comúns e polo feble da inspección lingüística, o galego se atopa nunha clara posición de desvantaxe no ámbito educativo, o que se opón ao modelo de equilibrio legalmente vixente. |
