Abdulaziz (Associate Editor) ; This study investigates the relationship between population density and wildlife strikes per operation at 78 airports in the Southeastern Region of the United States: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The data are derived from the year 2020. The descriptive statistics revealed consistent wildlife strike rates across varying operations and population densities. The inferential statistics revealed a very weak correlation and no statistical significance. After removing the outliers, the correlation and statistical significance remained the same. Despite expectations and support from literature findings, the data revealed no relationship between population density and wildlife strikes per operation, indicating further research is necessary to improve safety.
