Description: The review deals with the baroreflex regulation of circulation in chronic heart failure (CHF). The pathophysiological aspects of development of dysfunction of the baroreflex clinically estimated from its sensitivity are presented; the clinical value of this indicator is discussed in relation to the etiology of the underlying disease and clinicohemodynamic status. Data on the impact of some components of current therapy for CHF and nondrug treatments on the values of baroreflex sensitivity are shown.
