The development of digital technology has opened up opportunities for students to access various risky content, including online gambling, which can have serious impacts on morals and character development. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), this issue is crucial because it contradicts Islamic values that emphasize good morals, piety, and social responsibility. This study aims to explore the influence of online gambling on students' morals, the factors that encourage students to engage in online gambling, and how Islamic Education plays a role in preventing and mitigating these effects. The method used in this study was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines. The literature search was conducted using several trusted databases with publication dates between 2020 and 2025. Of the 138 articles found, 20 met the inclusion criteria and were systematically analyzed. The study findings indicate that online gambling significantly weakens the values of honesty, trustworthiness, discipline, and responsibility, reduces the quality of worship and piety, undermines social ethics, and hinders the formation of Islamic character. The main factors contributing to student involvement are psychological pressure, peer influence, easy access to technology, lack of supervision from parents and teachers, and the desire for quick profits. The study's conclusion confirms that Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in preventing online gambling through strengthening moral values, spiritual approaches, innovations in Islamic-based digital learning, and collaboration between schools, families, and the social environment in fostering student character in the digital age.
