The paper presents the results of a study of the dynamics of acquisition of shooting skills from a 9-mm Makarov pistol by cadets of the Vladimir Law Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The study found that having experience playing computer tactical first-person shooters can speed up the process of mastering the use of military firearms, and can improve the reaction and coordination of actions among law school cadets. The results of the study may influence the methods of training and improving fire training, and the effectiveness of the shooting course for future law enforcement officers. |
