| Description: |
National audience ; A Digital Twin (DT) is a tool to help specialists experiment and visualize their real objects. Each use case requires creating an appropriate DT with specific capacities (simulation, visualization, 3D.). When working in the geospatial context, DTs try to represent a territory at a defined scale (road network, building, city.), and the process of creating such DT can be difficult and time-consuming -especially for non geospatial experts. In this article, we will discuss the stakes of selecting data sources, treatments and visualization mode for a Territorial DT (TDT), as well as the observed bottlenecks and how we could address them. We will do so by analysing a first approach from a technical user to create a TDT fitting his needs. We will conclude with the future work to be done, about finding a structure to represent and share TDT or parts of TDT -including both data sources, treatments and visualizations -amongst different people working on similar use cases. |
