| Description: |
Three stands inspection of urban forests in Krasnoyarsk on the territory of the Biathlon Academy sports facility was conducted. The changes in the wood volume of tree stand, dead-standing and dead fallen stand density and tree basal area in birch, pine and aspen forests for the period 2018-2022 after the completion of work on the equipment of the trails and artificial snowmaking system were analyzed. The study was identified the stand degradation at all three sample plots. The aspen trees condition requires urgent measures for the forest reconstruction. Despite the younger biological age of pine stand, the degradation processes in it require comprehensive actions to improve the sanitary condition of the stand, its partial reconstruction and to reduce the negative effects of artificial snowing. In old-age birch stand, timely forest restoration o is sufficient. |
