Description: One of the most cancer-causing forms of cancer in the world is that of lungs. This is particularly due to the time consumed in diagnosing the cancer, in addition to the complexity involved in the image analysis procedure. The image analysis technique, such as the images obtained from the CT scan and histopathological images, is used in diagnosing cancer; however, the time involved in the diagnostic procedure is long and sometimes provides a false diagnostic result. The project proposed in this research is to develop a Deep Learning technique using the Convolution Neural Network technique to diagnose whether the lungs are benign/malignant from the CT scan images and the histopathological images.
