Description: The conventional classroom setting has involved an instructor conducting lectures and the students completing exercises on their own during class and/or evening hours for quite some time. Although the flipped classroom model is a deflection from the selected teaching approach, its innovation is a guarantee. A flipped classroom concept is when students participate in the instructional materials, i.e. lectures or readings outside of class, thereby generating class time for the active learning activities, the discussions, and the personalized support from the instructors. The paper considers the flipped school design, key principles, implementation strategies, and the strengths and weaknesses of this approach. Based on a literature review and some concrete examples, the paper put forward the flipped classroom approach as a way that holds the potential of involving soon to be finished college students even more actively, increasing the depth of the information learned and promoting a learning environment suitable for the variety of the student population. Besides, the article points out options for teachers wanting to utilize the flipped approach in their instruction process, like the technology needed, assessment approaches, and teachers' training. In the end, this paper contends that the flipped classroom is a fresh instructional technique that can improve students’ academic performances and revolutionize the educational experience of both instructors and learners. On the one hand, it is crucial to plan meticulously, fuel the process with needed assistance and continuously adjust to the changing requirements of students in today's digital world.
