The dataset contains the outlines of 825 projectile points made of stone from selected Late Palaeolithic (n=14) and Early Mesolithic sites (n=18) in the western part of Central Germany and surrounding areas. In addition, it includes the R codes used for morphometric analyses. The data allow a critical assessment of similarities and differences between the studied sites, as well as a quantitative analysis of technological developments throughout time, including the standardisation of projectile points. |
