Description: Epitaxial, (010)-oriented BiVO 4 films on 2′′ wafers synthesized by spin-coating and metalorganic decomposition exhibit remarkably high crystal quality. Spectroscopy reveals a large uniaxial optical anisotropy, confirming theoretical predictions.
