| Description: | Summary: This paper tries to meet two objectives: A first and preliminary calculation of the size and development of the proceeds of transnational organized crime (TOC) and a breakdown of the different types of crime proceeds, like the ones from drug-, human-, and arms trafficking. One conclusion is that a detailed analysis of the financial proceeds and their sources is crucial in order to reduce the basis of TOC operations. |
