The risks of eating behavior disorders, known mainly as risky eating behaviors (CAR), do not have an official concept of what they are, but they are called dysfunctional eating manifestations (Altamirano, 2020; Triacentro, 2020) due to that do not meet the diagnostic criteria according to the DSM manual (Saucedo, 2010), since they are considered as a set of psychopathological processes that entail serious anomalies in attitudes, habits and behaviors that constitute alterations in the intake of food in people with distorted eating patterns (Suárez, 2020; Chávez, 2012) During adolescence there is the possibility that at some point some risky eating behavior will occur, since adolescents are more exposed to the media, due to adolescents being a population vulnerable to advertising and easy manipulation, especially everything to social networks and consequently pay more attention to fashions, standards and stereotypes, as well like the fact of carrying out challenges in order to have followers, trying to follow any diet, myth and of course food advice, putting their health at risk. Many alterations in healthy eating habits and behaviors are due to harmful comments, treatment and criticism given to them due to their appearance, where many times the majority come from family and friends, directly influencing food. (Lighthouses, 2021).
