This document outlines the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for DiSSCo's core infrastructure. Components of the core infrastructure were already built up to TechnicalReadiness Level 4-5 with funding received from DiSSCo partners, in-kind contribution from Naturalis and through earlier EU-funded projects. A prototype is accessible atsandbox.dissco.eu. The MVP aims to advance this to Technical Readiness Level 6, and to demonstrate added value by providing functionality for data enrichment and improved usability. To achieve this, the MVP will not only include components of the core infrastructure but will also include the DiSSCover annotations portal as a web front-end to support annotations. The document describes the minimum functionality that needs to be provided by the MVP and measurements taken to ensure a highly available, trustworthy software product. The document also discusses data selection criteria and dependencies on external services that may affect the release of the MVP.
