Description: The main objective is to understand the resilience and adaptability of young entrepreneurs leading small businesses (SBs) in Bamako in the face of the energy crisis. The methodology adopted for this research was the interpretivist approach based on the exploratory qualitative method. We chose a non-probabilistic sampling method using purposive and convenience sampling techniques. The data from semi-structured interviews conducted with a sample of 10 entrepreneurs leading SBs were analyzed through thematic analysis according to the approach of Paillé and Mucchielli (2021). The results show that the resilience strategies developed include the adoption of alternative energy solutions and various strategies to ensure the continuity of their activities. The small businesses of the entrepreneurial leaders in Bamako were disrupted by the energy crisis; however, they were able to adapt and remain resilient in the face of this temporary challenge by implementing response measures, such as acquiring generators and solar systems, revising staff schedules, etc. This research is necessary to highlight the importance of innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, and sustainable energy solutions in the resilience of small businesses. Keywords: Resilience, Adaptability, Entrepreneurs of Small Businesses, Energy Crisis, Mali.
