| Description: |
The T2K ND280 upgrade aims to reduce the systematicuncertainty of the CP-violating phase, δ$_{CP}$, toreject non-CP violation hypothesis at 3σ confidence level. Acrucial component of the ND280 upgrade, alongside the Super FineGrained Detector (SuperFGD) and two High-Angle Time ProjectionChambers (TPCs), is the Time-of-Flight (ToF) detector, whichsignificantly enhances background rejection and particleidentification capabilities. The ToF detector features six modulesin a cube configuration, each with 20 plastic scintillator barsmeasuring 220×12×1 cm$^{3}$ andis equipped with Silicon Photomultiplier (MPPC) arrays at both endsto capture scintillation light. This letter outlines the modellingof the detector response and the signal reconstruction process. |
