Memo from James Danglade to Patsy Donn regarding background information on proposed Ed. D. and Ed. S. degree programs for Strategic Air Command domestic bases. ; The Extension Division was first established by the Indiana State Normal School Eastern Division in 1921. A new department called the Office of Extended Services was formed by Ball State University in 1947. The department was renamed the Office of Continuing Education in the 1972-1973 academic year. In 1975, the office was elevated to the rank of school and renamed the School of Continuing Education. In 1989, it was changed to the School of Continuing Education and Public Service. In 2002, it was renamed the School of Extended Education. The department later transformed into the Division of Online and Distance Education. ; This archival material has been provided for educational purposes.
