The intervention was conducted based on the Seven-step Learning Cycle on the test group. Results The results showed a statistically significant difference in the mean score of distress, self-concept and health literacy in the test group (p-value = 0.000). however, there was no statistically significant difference between the scored before and after the intervention of this group in the distress questionnaire (p value = 0.803) and self-concept (p-value = 0.553), but this difference was also significant in the health literacy of the control group (p-value = 0.005). Conclusion According to the results, it is necessary to hold educational classes and workshops using new educational models for pregnant mothers.
