The article characterizes the earthquakes impact and the measures to reduce consequences, to which the territory of the Republic of Moldova is exposed. At the same time, the current problems related to the seismic hazard are treated through the efficiency of the seismic zoning and microzoning process of the geographical space, the monitoring of earthquakes, as well as the conditions that determine the seismic risk. In order to face the vicissitudes conditioned by the future earthquakes, it is essential to develop and apply a wide range of energetic actions of empirical, political and administrative aspect. |
