Heat pump market in Poland is one of the most dynamically developing branches of renewable energy sources (RES). Installations using different types of low-temperature heat pumps are becoming more and more popular especially among owners of detached houses. The article presents the characteristics of the heat pump market in Poland in recent years. Most important changes introduced on 20 February 2015 in the Act on Renewable Energy Sources (Journal of Laws 2015 pos. 478), were discussed. Also future prospects associated with increased use of heat pumps installations in the face of new regulations were analyzed. |
