All models also included tree age and location within the garden as fixed covariates as well as genet identity and time as random covariates. Abbreviations are BAsqrt: square root of basal area, CT: condensed tannins, SPG: salicinoid phenolic glycosides, N: nitrogen, ALA: average leaf area, SLA: specific leaf area, and EFN: extrafloral nectaries. Initial BAsqrt represents trees size in 2012. |
