| Description: | Trichoclinocera yixianensis species-group Recognition. These are very unusual species of Trichoclinocera, characterized by long spine-like setae at the base of the fore femora (Figs 3–4), often one-third to one-half length of the segment; face greatly narrowed, eyes somewhat narrowed, with facets enlarged anteroventrally (Fig. 2), and bacilliform sclerite extending apically beyond base of clasping cercus. Remarks.
