Správa o slovenskej architektúre

The book analyzes the architectural situation in Slovakia in the form of engaging essays. It records the main trends in contemporary architecture and the works that illustrate them. The authors pay attention to the wider social context of architecture: they examine the position of architectural heritage and the relationship of architecture to the natural environment and also reflect on problematic topics such as architecture and war conflict or the politicization of public space. The book loosely follows on from the series of publications Yearbook of Slovak Architecture.--From publisher.
