This work is a facsimile of the 1784 Choral-Buch edited by Christian Grego Bishop, administrator and musician of the Moravian Church. The Moravian Church traces its roots to the Bohemian Brethren who were organized in 1457, following teachings of John Hus. James Boeringer provides the annotations of these original Moravian tunes.
