In this expanded edition of Revolutions in Eastern Europe, the authors include a new chapter on the Baltic states. The coverage of East Germany has been revised to include notification, the restructuring of the Eastern economy within a united Germany and the treatment of the former communist leaders. The chapter on Czechoslovakia includes separate treatment of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993-94. Also included is a brief account of Croatia and Slovenia in 1992-94, the Bosnian conflict, and the rump Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Macedonia. The accounts are taken to the end of 1994.
