[Dt.:] Sanhati ist die Internetseite einer Studierendengruppe in Kalkutta (der Chhatra Chhatri Sanhati Mancha), die sich in Folge der Ereignisse in Singur und Nandigram im Frühjahr 2007 gegründet hat, bei denen zahlreiche Dorfbewohner während des Widerstands gegen die gewaltsame Landakquisition für Industrialisierungsprojekte der westbengalischen Regierung von der Polizei erschossen wurden. Die Webseite beleuchtet die Ereignisse in Nandigram und Singur aus einer kritischen Perspektive und stellt zahlreiche Artikel, Bilder und Videos sarüber zur Verfügung. - [Engl.:] Sanhati has been created to resist neoliberal forces in West Bengal and to spread the spirit of dissent that has been sparked by the events in Singur in 2007 - the forced acquisition of agricultural land and the consequent dispossession of thousands of farmers.
