[Dt.:] "Imaging Everest" ist eine Online-Ausstellung anlässlich des 50. Jahrestages der Erstbesteigung des Mount Everest 1953. Die Ausstellung wird von der Royal Geographical Society in Zusammenarbeit mit dem British Council und dem Institute of British Geographers verantwortet. Inhaltlich ist sie in verschiedene Abschnitte unterteilt, die sich mit der Entdeckung und Erforschung des Mount Everest bis zur Erstbesteigung 1953 beschäftigen. - [Engl.:] This website provides an online version of the Imaging Everest exhibition and enables people all over the world to share this remarkable collection of photographs. The project is part of the Royal Geographical Society's work to make its heritage resources increasingly accessible for a wide range of users.
