Zusammenfassung:	[Dt.:] Das Kooperationsprojekt fokussiert Konzepte des Sehens im Kontext der Entwicklung der modernen Naturwissenschaften. Thema sind die praktische und theoretische Bedeutung des Einsatzes augenschärfender optischer Zeichenhilfen und deren Einfluss auf die Wahrnehmung. Die digitale Bibliothek bietet Einsicht in kunst- und wissenschaftshistorisch relevante Primärquellen - Texte aus dem 17.-19. Jahrhundert - als Volltextdigitalisate. Außerdem enthält die Website Bildmaterialien aus der Zeit sowie eine Datenbank mit umfangreicher Sekundärliteratur. - [Engl.:] The objective of the open digital library is to set up a corpus of descriptions, opinions and notions related to theory and practice of the use of optical instruments for the sake of depiction in Art and Science. Furthermore, it makes available a set of illustrations of the optical drawing devices themselves as well as of the visual products resulting from their use.
